John W. Kuhry, Business Development, Real Green Power, Inc.


John Kuhry initiates and manages regional business development activities for RealGreen Power, Inc., a Honolulu-based wastewater treatment and renewable energy company. He brings to the company several decades of experience in entrepreneurial projects and a strong background in sustainability, and also serves as Vice President on the Executive Board the Economic Development Corporation of Mendocino County.


Previously, Mr. Kuhry was the General Manager of the award-winning Anderson Valley Brewing, Inc., the first  brewery to install a photovoltaic system to provide 40% of its energy needs. He was also the first commercial client on the US mainland to purchase RealGreen Power’s bioreactor system that now treats 100% of the brewery’s wastewater and generates biogas.


Mr. Kuhry holds an M.S. in Applied Economics & Finance from the University of California, Santa Cruz where he focused on financial aspects of environmental questions.
